Atlantic Financial Services, LLC, owned and operated by Financial Services Professional*, Eric Barlow is located in downtown Old Saybrook, CT and is one of two branch locations. Eric opened this second branch location in January 2018 after 10 years spent growing his Windsor based office.

Eric graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In December 2007 he became a licensed Agent with New York Life Insurance Company and went on studying to become a Registered Representative* before opening his own brick and mortar location under the DBA, Atlantic Financial Services, LLC.

Eric is a life insurance and protection planning expert. He takes great pride in being the professional and friend that his clients look to for guidance in helping them to protect what matters most. Together he works with his clients to design and execute customized roadmaps that will aid them in reaching their financial goals. The financial services Industry is a career path that has allowed Eric to couple his love for finance and community with his natural leadership instincts, giving him the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, families, and business owners. Eric has grown his practice and now maintains over 1400 clients, over 15 states.

When not in the office, Eric is traveling throughout Connecticut hosting free educational workshops and seminars. These topics include Protection and Long-Term Care Planning, Six Key Areas of Estate Tax Planning, How to Save from a Young Age, Blueprint for Financial Success, and more. He believes that the key to financial success and stability is education and preparation and has built a career helping his clients to protect, grow and distribute their wealth.

Eric has been a panelist and recipient of NAIFA CT Four Under 40 and a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) member since 2013. He is also a member of several community leadership organizations including the Essex Board of Trade, Essex Rotary, Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce, Progressive Leaders of Today, Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut, and the CT Shoreline BNI chapter.

Eric offers a variety of products that can help you meet a number of insurance and financial needs, including, but not limited to college funding, retirement, managing costs for extended periods of care and lifetime income strategies.

Eric is available to meet with individuals, families, and business owners to help fully analyze your needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Dana Barlow began her career in the financial industry as a Recruiting Coordinator and then became life and health insurance licensed as she transitioned into her full-time position aiding clients to help them better plan for their financial futures. Dana has a passion for people and business and believes that one of the greatest joys can be found in genuinely helping another. Her role in the firm is now focused on client relations, client and community education, give-back initiatives, and day-to-day operations. Being a Partner in a family business is something that Dana takes great pride in and looks to share her passion and industry knowledge with clients and the community. 

The overall goal is always to bring financial awareness and peace of mind to the clients that they service and the households and business owners that they have the opportunity to meet.

Prior to obtaining her life and health insurance licenses, Dana studied for her B.S. in Communication at Eastern Connecticut State University, spent a summer working with children in Hawaii at the North Shore YMCA on Oahu, and worked in Higher Education while obtaining her MBA at the University of New Haven.

Outside of the office Dana volunteers at Forgotten Felines, a no-kill animal shelter in Clinton, CT, and other charitable and community events. She is a member of the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce and PLOT (Progressive Leaders of Today), a sub-division of the chamber. Dana also received the NAIFA 4 Under 40 panelist award in 2018.
